    Title : Programme Engineer (Contractor Position)

    Reports to:  Global Diagnostics Procedures Supervisor – Ford Customer Service Division

    Description of business: Ford service engineering team (part of Ford Motor Company) is responsible for the delivery of technical information to the Ford dealerships to enable vehicle technicians to identify vehicle issue’s and resolve them. Information includes how to diagnose what the issue is and how the system works that is being investigated which further aids the diagnostics

    Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is one which has a vehicle repair background on both mechanical and electronic vehicle systems plus is proficient with using a computer, project management, database usage (not writing a database), ability to gather information/summarize/present. Also prior employment at a company such as Ford or similar business would be advantageous

    Overview of Role: With a team of nearly 40 staff writing the diagnostic information a program engineer is required to aid the delivery of the team. With many different vehicle programs being engineered the program engineer will aid the team to meet its objectives of having all information available by the time the first vehicle is sold to a customer

    Title: Diagnostics Engineer (Contractor Position)

    Reports to: Global Diagnostics Feature Team Leader – Ford Customer Service Division

    Description of business: Delivery of dealer diagnostic content for Ford vehicle programs globally

    Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is one which has a vehicle repair background on both mechanical and electronic vehicle systems plus is proficient with using a computer and has experience with software basic languages and have authored ISIP (Identity Selector Interoperability Profile) documents. Candidate could create logical steps to lead technicians to identify reasons for failure.

    We will consider both graduate engineers and experienced time-served engineers/technicians in the fields defined.

    Experience in the automotive industry would be very welcomed, especially if current.
